July 20, 2010 - Camping

This last weekend we went on a camping trip with Heather's brother and his family to Payson Lakes. We have never been there before this and it was beautiful and full of up close and personal wildlife. We encountered a deer (we mistaked for a potential bear) and the most frightening animal in nature, a skunk. The skunk had us all hiding in the car.
Hunter loved getting dirty with his cousins.

The boys were of course fascinated with the fire but their most favorite thing was the unlimited amount of dirt around them.

Hunter even rolled around in it.

We camped just next to this beautiful lake.

We made this fun swing and Hunter had a great time trying it out.

The kids also loved playing in the back of the truck.

After a nice sleepless night, we went on a hike to the waterfalls.

The water was so cold, we were all grimacing at our numb feet.

Hunter lifted his feet up immediately.

Luckily Payson lake was a bit warmer.

We had fun floating around and playing in it.

We love camping and having these fun memories together.
